A huge thank you not only needs to go out to all of our friends and family, and all those that have donated, but also to all our of our business contacts for their support!
As some of you may know, Lyndsey runs two local business promotion franchises, The Best of Durham and the Best of Sunderland, and we have had some great support from business clients and contacts! From the donating of raffle prizes to one of the clients printing logos on our T-shirts for the trek, we could not have done it without this vital support.
It is with great delight Lyndsey is able to offer the businesses something in return, by getting some local Press coverage about the trek in which the company will be mentioned.

Only 9 weeks to go!!
Hi Everyone,
Well, in exactly 9 weeks we will be heading off for our trek of the Great Wall of China. So we are in the midst of our final training preparations. We have a number of local walks planned over the next couple of months, which will see us hiking Roseberry Topping and the Cheviot Hills, as well as walking Hadrians Wall and the Red Kite Trail around Gateshead.
We are continuing with our fundraising efforts and over the next couple of weeks we will be selling 'squares' for £5 each for a chance of winning £100 of Metro Centre Vouchers - please let us know if you want to buy a square!

The trek is getting closer!
Hi everyone,
Well, with the new year now underway, and only 3 months until we head off to China, our focus is now turning to kit preparation and increasing our training (as well as fundraising).
We have planned a number of walks and treks which we will undertake over the next few months and we are also planning to head over to the lake district for a couple of overnight stays to practice trekking over consecutive days.
Keep checking back and we will keep you posted on how our training is progressing and any other fundraising events we are planning.
